A Simple Woman's Daybook~Entry #1

I have seen this done on several blogs and thought I would give it a try.  ;-)  Don't know if I will like it (or if my readers will like it), but I figured it was a rather simple, quick, and easy way to give everyone a basic update on what I am doing without having to post a long update.. lol!

Outside my window... The sky is blue, the sun is shining... but it is rather windy...

I am thinking...That math went really well today, and how exciting it is to see God's hand in your daily life.

I am thankful for... God being so good to us

From the learning rooms... Math, Human Anatomy (my favorite!), History, English, Language Arts, Spanish, French

From the kitchen... Eating out tonight! Quite the little treat...

I am wearing... my favorite denim skirt that I got at a thrift store, and my favorite purple, long sleeved shirt.

I am creating... a bunch of thoughts in my head.  Writing script, figuring out some major problems for our movie, etc, etc.

I am going... to get to help a mother-friend of mine.  They have 3 kids of their own and just got 4 foster children. It is quite the crazy household at the moment!

I am reading... Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris

I am hoping... to graduate this fall...

I am hearing... some music playing, and other family members talking

Around the house... Mom, Josh, and Caleb are about to go out and look at the show heifers, Becca just finished her school, and I am doing this. ;-)

One of my favorite things... is riding horses

A few plans for the rest of the week: Tomorrow is Drama, Wednesday we have some company, Thursday we have more company, Friday I will be gone helping the woman I mentioned earlier then I will be attending a Girl's Fellowship Night, Saturday some friends are coming over, Sunday.. church hopefully unless something else happens.

A random picture:
The story behind the picture....  While visiting some good friends, we kids decided to make a spoof on LOTR.  So, from left to right in this picture; Laredo (played Gimli), Aspen (Played Frodo), Me (played Logolas).  Yes, it is rather funny that 'Gimli' just happens to be taller than me.. He got on his knees anytime he was Gimli.  The eldest daughter, Atlanta, had made all the costumes. Aren't they really cool??  You can see the video we made HERE.  Check it out and let me know what you think! I thought it turned out really cute.  The rather funny thing was that I hadn't even seen the movies/read the books yet.  So, I really didn't know who my character was except that he was an elf.. lol!

In Christ's Service,
Sarah

Ohhh it's nice to know what you're up to XD Sounds like you are one busy gal! I have nothing on the calendar for this week... blissfully. :) I've been going going going like crazy for the past couple of months... it's nice to take it easy for once!
I watched the video and it was so funny! I love the cell phone part LOL! And you died very well. Oh. That sounded kinda bad. O.O Hmm... you made a good dead person? NO! That's worse. Umm... you were a very convincing actor! There we go! :D (At least I think I saw you!) How are you enjoying your bit of fame?! :D

May,
Ok, I am rolling on the floor.... You were perfectly fine saying I die well.. trust me, the boys were giving me tons of 'lessons' on how to do it (I don't think I quite did it the way they wanted), so I am glad I did well. ;) lol!!!!
Yes, you did see me die (Duh, I guess the above answered that, didn't it?? lol!) any way, when we weren't playing the 'main' character each of us chose, we were playing Orcs.. yuck. ;)
It was loads of fun. I hope to do another part (now that I have read the books and seen the movies!) when we see them again. :)
Thanks for the comment and I WILL email you soon!! As you can guess, we have been a bit busy! :)
Love ya!

Neat! That was a cool idea! :)

By the way, Sarah. Where am I suppose to put my thoughts/verses for the challenge? I just thought that I could comment with them, like you said, but I just didn't know where to do that and when to start. :)

How are y'all doing? I haven't heard from you in a while. I guess I just need to email you sometime. :)

Love and Blessings,
Martha Joy

Honey, read the books. I did watch the first part of the spoof & it is a GOOD thing I didn't have my tea! Toooooo funny.
There used to be a written spoof called Bored of the Rings. If you ever get a chance to read it, after you've read LOTR, you will ROFL.
Hilarious.
You looked like you were having fun & playing ORCS would not be anything I'd want to do.

Martha Joy,
Thanks! I am glad you liked it. :)

If you want, you can just post them in a comment under my challenge posts (or, if I don't post soon enough.. lol! You can just post them in a comment on a different post..)
I am glad you are joining us!!! :)

We have been busy! For some reason, I thought I had emailed you.. but I guess I just THOUGHT that I needed to email you.. lol! I will try to email you, too! How you all??
Love ya!

Jennifer,
Hey, so glad you stopped by!!! Thank you for leaving a comment. :)
Yes, after doing the spoof, I was motivated the read the books. Mom and Dad's rule was that we had to read the books before watching the movies. Glad I did!! :) They are definitely on my list of favorites. :)
Yup, it was loads of fun. And yes, I don't much care for playing an orc!! ;)
