I don't think I was laughing (but I did smile in some parts).

Actually, this little story reminds me of the fact of why I (with Husband's support) decided to come home full-time and be a Homemaker. I've been in the Ant's position (or something similar) several times in my life when I worked outside the home, and I don't care to ever repeat the process again!
